Woodstock Golf Club

Home to the 2019 Irish Open, West Clare is world renowned for its famous Park-lands and Links golf in Clare.

Woodstock Golf Club, Founded in 1988, is situated in pleasant countryside on the outskirts of Ennis & is adjacent to the Hotel. The golf course features a tough opening hole, a loop of holes (6-8) around a lake that can spoil a card early, and provides six excellent finishing holes. In between there are good scoring chances.

This Clare Golf Club course is protected by several natural lakes, a river, and mature wooded areas. The river, natural lake & contours have been used to great effect to produce a test of skill for players of all levels. The Golf Club provides Ample Parking, Golf Shop, Motorised Buggy Hire upon request,  Pull Trolley Hire, a Putting Green, Equipment Cleaning Area and Locker Room/Shower Facilities.

Shannon Golf Club

Shannon Golf Club is located just 25 minutes from Hotel Woodstock. Established in 1966, Shannon’s 6,763-yard course, designed by John D Harris, has been tested by golfers from all over the world – members, European professionals and a host of US stars. Now firmly established as one of Ireland’s premier parkland courses, Shannon’s fairways feature natural meadow grass planted on either side with spruce, evergreens and wide variety of deciduous trees. Shannon has proudly hosted both Irish and European amateur championships and the Men’s Amateur Irish Close Championship.
