Taking place from 5–6 September 2026, this will be the 51st staging of the prestigious biennial event, which sees the finest amateur golfers from Great Britain & Ireland compete against their counterparts from the United States.

A Milestone for Irish Golf

Lahinch will become just the third Irish club in history to welcome the Walker Cup, following in the footsteps of world-famous venues like St Andrews and Cypress Point. This is not only a major honour for Lahinch but also for the entire region of Clare. The course last proved its international pedigree during the 2019 Dubai Duty Free Irish Open, which drew global attention for its exceptional atmosphere, passionate crowds, and top-tier golfing conditions.
