Water Park Fun at West Coast Aqua Park
Outdoor adventure, exhilarating fun, unforgettable excitement! Nothing says ‘holiday’ like a water park – and West Coast Aqua Park has all the right ingredients for a truly awesome water adventure. All just a 47.1 km (40 minute) drive from Hotel Woodstock, on the N68 road. It’s epic fun for family, friends – everyone!
West Coast Aqua Park is the largest inflatable water park in Ireland - and the most exciting, guaranteeing you a great and unforgettable day out. There is a whole world of inflatable challenges, obstacles and games – inviting you to jump, slide, climb and bounce your way around the park! Challenge your friends to a ‘Wipe-out’, or enjoy the fun of a kids versus parents competition! And if you’re feeling a little lazier – take advantage of the park’s less active obstacles and just enjoy the moment!
The park suits all levels of fitness – but you must be able to swim to enter the park. The park provides wet suits free of charge – so you can spend longer in the water, and buoyancy aids are given to all guests.
Please note: Children under 6 are not allowed entry to the park. A parent or guardian MUST accompany all children aged 6 to 10 years, and one adult can take a maximum of 3 children. Children aged 1- to 15 years can use the park on their own, but a parent/guardian must be present on site.
SOME IDEAS FOR YOUR DAY OUT:
* Let Hotel Woodstock pack a lunch for your day out at the water park. And after your day of activity, you’ll be more than ready for dinner back at the hotel.
* Just 46.2km (40 minutes) from Hotel Woodstock is The Vandeleur Walled Garden and Woodland Bistro – one of Clare’s most beautiful botanical tributes to Ireland’s natural history.
* Make the most of your day in Kilrush by taking in some of its other attractions. The Shannon Dolphin and Wildlife Centre offers guided tours of its research into the Estuary’s Bottlenose Dolphins. You can also take a 2 ½ half cruise with ‘Dolphin Discovery’ – a true treat of a Wild Atlantic Way experience. Enjoy the dolphins leap from the water or swim alongside the boat.
* A different Kilrush experience is the Museum of Irish Rural Life, with its fascinating collection of farming relics and exhibits depicting country life in days gone by.
