Doonbeg International Jazz Festival
A fun-filled weekend with bands from Germany, USA, Scotland and all over Ireland to play music sing and dance. Doonbeg invites old and new friends to attend this event for its 18th year running. Dates to be confirmed.

An Post Tour de Burren
A fantastic cycling event where people of all ages and levels are encouraged to take part. Last year over 2,000 participants completed the event and it won Cycling Irelands Best Leisure Event in 2014. The cycle takes place in Ballyvaughan, this village is a half hour drive from Hotel Woodstock. Taking Place Saturday 17th June 2017

Féile Brian Ború
This festival takes place in Brian Borus birthplace of Killaloe from the 29th of June to the 2nd of July 2017. There are events to interest all the family such as a historical guided tours, fireworks display, carnival, traditional craft workshops, parades, dog show and art exhibitions.

July

Ennis Street Festival
The week long festival of arts and culture in Ennis town with local and international acts. This year it will take place from 3rd to 9th July 2017.

Willie Clancy Summer School
The event will take place from July 1st to July 9th 2017 in Miltown Malbay. The annual event is for Irish music lovers with over 150 workshops and non-stop music day and night throughout the village. Miltown Malbay is just a half hour drive from Hotel Woodstock.

August

Feakle Traditional Music Festival
This event is from the 2nd of August to the 7th of August 2017. This festival began twenty years ago and there will be storytelling, poetry, a céili mór and guided tours of the area. This festival is a half hour drive from Hotel Woodstock.

Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann
Ennis welcome back the most important event of the traditional Irish music calendar the Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann from the 13th to the 21st of August 2017. Musicians, singers and dancers will compete for All Ireland champion titles. The town will welcome thousands of people to enjoy themselves for the renowned event.

Lisdoonvarna Matchmaking Festival
Europe’s largest match making festival takes place from the 25th of August to the 1st of October. Each weekend focuses on a different event; the first weekend is horse racing, the second country music, the third is dancing and the final weekend crowning the Queen and King of the Burren 2017.

Doolin Craft Beer and Roots Festival
This event will take place from the 26th to the 28th of August 2017. There will be the best root acts from around the world, top craft beers and artisan foods.

September

Lisdoonvarna Matchmaking Festival
Europe’s largest match making festival takes place from the 25th of August to the 1st of October. Each weekend focuses on a different event; the first weekend is horse racing, the second country music, the third is dancing and the final weekend crowning the Queen and King of the Burren 2017.

Doolin Harley Festival
This festival will take place in Doolin from the 16th to the 18th of September 2017. There will be a custom Harley bike show, bike graphics, tattoo artists, fireworks display, live music and the Burren rideout.

Ennis Fashion Week
Fashion lovers are invited to enjoy the “Fashion Boutique Capital of Ireland”. There will be fashion shows, workshops and discussions. Dates to be confirmed.

The Outing
LBGT Music and Matchmaking Festival- A weekend of comedy, arts, live music and interactive events. Dates to be confirmed.

Ennis Food Festival
This event will take place in Ennis from the 12th of October to the 15th of October 2017. There will be foodie events in the Ennis restaurants, a gourmet food village and gourmet food trail.

November

Ennis Trad Festival
The annual event will take place from November 3rd to November 6th 2017. There will be workshops, recitals, céilís and over 100 sessions organised during the event.

December

Santas Workshop at the Ailwee Caves
Santa Claus and his elves ensure a special day with beautiful gifts for each child that visits. The Santa Claus Workshops take place each Friday, Saturday and Sunday throughout December 2016. There is a Santa train to take children to visit the birds of prey to meet the Snowy Owl and for the adults the farm shop with award winning cheese and fudge. Ailwee caves are just a half hour drive from Hotel Woodstock.

Santa at Bunratty
Bunratty folk park is turned into a winter wonderland in honour of Santa Claus visit. Children can come to visit Santa Claus in his grotto, enjoy the puppet show, meet their favourite Christmas characters and delight in the Christmas themed shops. The event is a 25 minute drive from Hotel Woodstock and runs on dates throughout December but must be booked in advance.
